Mike joined Phoenix in 2016 and directs asset allocation, external manager research and internal equity strategies, including the Trust Portfolio, a traditional core equity strategy. Mike graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration and earned an MBA from Wake Forest.

Raised in Laurinburg, North Carolina, Mike is married and can be found coaching youth sports, transporting his three children to practices, teaching Sunday School at Triangle Grace Church or spending weekends smoking tasty dishes.
